Drilling holes with an electric auger?
But do you think the investment is too big? Then choose quiet and clean drilling in an instant for a suitable price. With the innovative RJ110 from EGI you can convert your cordless drill into a full-fledged cordless auger.
With this hole digger you can easily drill holes in the ground up to ø 150 mm, also in clay soil (depending on the power of your own cordless drill). In addition, the RJ110 makes little noise through the use of this cordless tool, it drills quietly due to the strong ratio of 1:5 and does not emit any exhaust gases. In short; the ideal holedigger for when you occasionally have to drill a hole!
Our CQ303 auger series fits on the output shaft of 20 mm, so that you can choose from a range of augers from ø 60 to 150 mm. The machine that we recommend to drive the auger holder is a Hikoki cordless drill, but any cordless drill from 18V with a 3/8” chuck is sufficient.
And yes, finally an auger that can turn the auger back out of the ground. The cordless auger can be used for various applications. It is a welcome helper for planting plants and shrubs. But certainly also for placing a few posts at a fence or for making holes for footings, for example. No more exhaust fumes blowing in your face or the sound of a roaring petrol engine.
For you we have tested the RJ110 next to the Makita electric auger.
Check how the EGI cordless drill holder manages to hold its own against the Makita auger.
The RJ110 cordless drill holder is supplied as standard without cordless drill, without auger.
